PRIZES AND RECOGNITIONS  


Our bet for the quality has been deserving of the recognition of several organism of national and international character of unquestionable prestige. Among them we can emphasize:

  • Named by D. Pablo Amate López like the restaurnt with better service in 1995.
  • Recognition by the work for the traditional gastronomy by the Granadina Brotherhood of Good Table in 1995.
  • Restaurant selected by the Council of Tourism and Sport of the Junta of Andalucía and the Patronage of Tourism of Almeria, to represent Almeria at the Andalusian night, in the Hilton Hotel of Brussels in 1997.
  • Awarded with the first prize of Almeria’s kitchen in Gastrosur in 1997 by the plate “Rags to the Veratense”.
  • Restaurant selected by the Patronage of Tourism of Almeria, to represent Andalucía in the Tourism Fair of Bilbao, for the years 97/98/99
  • Better Hotel with Restaurant in Gastrosur 1998.
  • Selected like first restaurant of the province of Almeria, by the prestigious Good Table Restaurants Association in 1998.
  • Gold Sun Prize to D. Antonio Alba Párraga, Director/General Manager of Verahotel, in 1998, by the City Council of Vera.
  • Restaurant selected to reprresent Almeria in the Copenhagen Fair by the Provincial Patronage of Tourism and the Public Tourism Company, and the one that made tastings of typical plates of our province.
  • Restaurant selected by the Good Table Friends for the accomplishment of six of its days of hunting.
  • Recognition ot the Circle of the Friendship by its good work in the furnaces.
  • Representing the Provincial Patronage of Tourism and the Almanzora region in the International Fair of Tourism FITUR, during the last seven years, making tastings of Almeria’s typical plates and wine of the Alpujarra of Almeria.
  • Restaurant selected to represent Almeria by CEA-Confederation of Managers of Andalucía in the First Gastronomical Event, celebrated at the Ritz Hotel of Madrid (23-01-2001), also in the Third Gastronomical Event at the Ritz Hotel.
  • National Prize of Gastronomy in the years 2002 and 2003, with the “Golden Plate”.
